Merton L. LaQuay, age 77, of Macon GA, went to be with the Lord November 29, 2005.  Born in SIlver Creek, NY, he grew up in West Perrysburg, NY and lived in Baldwinsville, NY for many years.
     He was a past member of the Community Wesleyan Church. He had a mobile milling business for 18 years and then started Golden Rule Builders. Before retiring, he managed the buildings and grounds at Conifer Village. He retired and moved to Macon, GA to volunteer at Hephzibah Children's Home.
     Surviving are his wife Barbara, his children David of Columbus, GA, Ruth Hill of Canadea, NY, Dale of Baldwinsville, Rebecca Stetser of Herkimer, Rae Freeman of Stockton, NY and Roberta Dainton of West Chester, PA; 25 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; brother Bruce of S Dayton, NY an aunt, Betty Dawley of Sanborn; and several neices and nephews.
     A memorial service will be held at the Community Wesleyan Church in Baldwinsville. Contributions may be given to: Hephzibah Children's Home or the Community Wesleyan Church
